Dear Prayer Warriors,
Praise the Lord!!! I just got off the phone with John. He is doing well but asking for the strength to finish the task. The church they are building is a Baale church and the people of the village are hosting him so well with food and working hard on the church. They should be able to put the tin roof on Monday. God is so good!!
Prayer items:
1. Baptisms tomorrow with people coming from several different villages. Pray for safety for all coming. Satan tends to attack just at baptism time.
2. The new termite proof church would be blessed and a blessing to the people building it.
3. Rabies has broken out and there is no vaccine available. One of our former workers is showing symptoms of it. Once the symptoms show up the vaccine will not work. This makes me sad. Please pray for Nga Bacho to make her peace with the Lord. Please pray for others to be protected from the rabies.
4. John came upon an ambush by the police of Bume who had stolen a lot of corn. Three Bume were dead and 2 police wounded so he had to take the wounded back to Kibish before he could proceed to Moga.
5. Mattias’ week in Moga was wonderful with services twice a day and many people coming to listen. Maybe we will have baptisms in Moga one of these days.
6. Ulrike is in Tulegit and has to accomplish a lot before she leaves on Monday. Pray for strength and encouragement for her.
Praise God!!! He is working his purpose out!! Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. In Christ, Gwen (and John in Ethiopia)
