Dear Prayer Warriors, Thank you for all your prayers for us. I got my teeth last week and in spite of everyone’s warnings I am finding it hard to navigate with them. The upper bridge fits in snugly and feels good but the lower one won’t stay in place when I eat, talk and sing so I am tempted not to do those things:)They look good (read in better than before) so I am sending you a picture and a short email so you can see for yourselves. I was very frustrated a few days ago and felt the Lord telling me,” You know what to do when you are frustrated. You are always telling others what to do so do it yourself. Praise me! I will help you deal with this but I want you to praise me!” It has helped my attitude a lot to praise my Lord and king!! I have an appointment with the dentist on May 26th so please pray with us about that.

John leaves for Ethiopia on May 30th and comes home on June 28th. He has trusses for another termite proof church but…..the papers for both cars in Addis are missing so he will have to find them and get the cars inspected and get insurance before he can travel down to Tulegit. Thank you for taking this concern before the throne of grace.

My mom had her 96th birthday this week. My brother, Tim, came from Denver and Desta and family from KC. Chuck and family and Heather and hers were here already. We celebrate a faithful woman full of integrity who still can make us laugh with her stories of growing up on the farm in Nebraska. She got her driver’s license renewed and is good till she is 100 years old. That is in the Lord’s hands!! We ask God to bless you with faithfulness and integrity and with many stories to tell.

Love in Jesus, Gwen
